The Focus JAM2 8.9 2024 is engineered as a high-performance e-MTB for demanding trail and all-mountain riding. Its carbon front triangle paired with an aluminium rear triangle uses 150 mm F.O.L.D. GEN2 suspension kinematics to provide efficient climbing support and confident descending control. Fully integrated C.I.S. cable routing keeps the cockpit clean and protected while improving durability.
Suspension performance is led by a FOX 36 Float Factory fork with GRIP2 damper and 160 mm travel, delivering precise adjustability and elite-level trail response. At the rear, the FOX Float X Performance shock provides smooth, controlled rear suspension action across technical terrain and high-speed trail sections.
Drive support comes from the Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System motor producing 85 Nm of torque, paired with a large 750 Wh battery for extended ride range. The cockpit features a Bosch System Controller, Mini Remote, and Kiox 300 display, giving detailed ride data and intuitive assist control.
The drivetrain uses Shimano Deore XT 12-speed shifting with a wide 10–51T range for efficient climbing and fast trail transitions. Shimano XT 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes deliver powerful and consistent braking.
